This week's question courtesy of Miz Margaret who wants to get up close and personal. What were the last two pairs of shoes you purchased?
The last pairs I purchased were Christmas presents for Mom and Erma - they each wanted a pair of New Balance walking shoes as they had worn their old pairs out. Mom is 77, Erma is 81.
This is easy! I bought two new pair of sandals on Saturday at the Sketchers outlet! I was shopping with my daughter(Kristi) and granddaughter(Katie)-we stopped at the outlet to get new sneakers for Katie. She ended up with three new pair of shoes-my daughter bought one and I bought two! They had a great sale-buy one and get the second for half price. At that rate you can not buy just one! Great to have questions to answer again! Thanks!
this is an easy one.i wish i could say i bought some pretty ones like you guys posted but i bought 2 pair of dansco heavy duty shoes.i work in a hospital and am on my feet all day.the last thing i can think about is putting on shoes with a heel on them.i can remember going to work and thinking looking good was more important than comfort.my have things changed!!!!
I know what you mean, Deb. That's why I wear Skechers:) Thelma, I cannot believe you found a deal! Made me go look and see where the closest outlet is - there's one at Branson - I see a road trip in my near future! Those are pretty snazzy pumps, Miz M. Bet they look good with your shorts and Ts.
I love Sketchers. Have them in a bunch of colors and even slightly dressier ones with a bit of wedge heel! Bought at an outlet in NJ. Last shoes I bought were a pair of off white flats from Target (Targaa) Look like the rounded toe Mudd shoes that I like and I really liked the color for summer
I want to go back to the outlet next week-I like the strappy ones. Hopefully they still have a sale going-my daughter said they do that often. She loves their flip-flops.
I live in crocs! A couple years ago I read an article about them in the local paper & how nurses wear them for comfort. So I went online & bought the all-terrain style & the open toe slide-on style....they are pretty ugly for the price (but the kids at school don't mind). These are the only shoes I can wear that are wide enough & I no longer have achy feet at the end of the day.
As a nurse for 28 years, I can only wear shoes with strong arch support. I live in Birkenstocks year round so it is a good thing I was never a shoe-aholic. No heels in my closet, but I did get a new pair of slippers recently...do slippers count?
I bought two pairs of New Balance #811 walking shoes in black and white last Nov. I have worn out the black ones and need to get a new pair to replace them very soon. The white ones have recently been put to use with my new adventures at working out at the local jr. college fitness center.
