Question of the Week ~ 03/17/09

Miz Margaret wants to know all about your favorite shirt.

See the short-sleeve Oxford shirt?  I have eight of these shirts in different colors and patterns.  Just about the only thing I ever wear.  I am not a fashion icon.

My favorite shirts are 3/4 length sleeve-oxford shirts. I can wear these with or without tank top. I probably have at least a dozen of them. I wear them with a jacket over the winter. It is very cool in the office where I work so I also wear them over the summer. I always look for different colors and patterns when I shop. They have to be a true classic-at least for me!

I love 100%  cotton t-shirts.  I wear them at work and at home and to sleep in.  I wear Texas Orange--like the orange in our dishes and I wear olive drab--takes me back to my Marine Corps days.  Screenprinted some tie dyed cammo ones with "Old Corps"--its a Marine thing!  I have a whole bunch of tie dyed t-shirts in all kinds of patterns and colors!  My favorite!  I can wear my cammo "Chucks" with them and work in comfort and style!  The 'Know Your Roots' shirt was screenprinted from a Father's Day Card my youngest sister and I made for my Dad back in the mid 70's.  I found it going through some old pictures and thought it would make a great surprise for my family.  I couldn't decide which is my most favorite shirt so I posted all my favorites.

I would have loved those tie dyed shirts during a breast cancer charity cruise with the Atlanta Parrot Head Club last March. In fact I looked all over ebay for a long sleeved purple one to no avail. Can't seem to find one when you need one!

I work in an elementary school so I can get away with the craziest colors & styles & have alot of fun during the holidays with themed shirts. And I go crazy coordinating with the ear rings too.

Well, if we're talking tees, I have a tie dye like that one in the lower right corner AND a burgundy one with a very exclusive design that see the light just about every weekend.  I may start wearing them to work - you wouldn't believe some of the things these truck drivers wear or DON'T wear, like a belt to hold up their pants so their cracks won't show.

I too love T shirts!  I got my first Life Is Good t-shirt for Christmas.  It has a dog on the front with ear muffs on and underneath it says "Chilly Dog"  That shirt is so comfortable.  Can't wear them to work but sure make good use of it when I'm home.

I love Margaret's shirts. The fabrics of the shirts that she has used for me were very good quality. i've gotten some America styles and some of the tie dyes. I wear them all the time. I sleep in them. They're my daytime shirts. However, they've all gotten pretty worn...I've enjoyed them and wore them so much. I've had to go to Walmart to get several cheap men's tees (I like them long in length and sleeve length, too) so I had some to wear going out. I live in Tees and Jeans.

I hardly ever wear t-shirts, but my favorite one is from the Field Museum it has a large dinosaur on it and her name is Sue after the paleoanthropologist who first found "her". It is kind of fun to have a dinosaur shirt with my name on it!!!

My favorite kick around"shirt" is a hooded navy blue sweatshirt with Monmouth (University of NJ) Lacrosse on it. It has my daughter's number 16 on the sleeve. She played there for 4 years and then coached there for three years before she got (according to her) her "big girl job!! She ordered it for me one year.
